Me I'll stick with my Og Wave. My Mother bough for me 30 + years ago. She's been gone over 20 years.

I carried the wave, and was worried about missing the serrated blade. I cut a lot of rope and hay bales...with the Arc for a while now, don't miss it love the new tool set

I own the OG wave and the arc obsidian so I especially loved this video. Subscribed.

They’re both awesome but you can guess which one I’m carrying more regularly. Can’t put the Arc down—it’s just badass. The OG wave is my old dependable—goes in my Bugout bag and in my car. But the arc I believe is a tool we are still learning more about everyday because it has so much to offer. The kicker? That magnacut blade. Anyway you slice it—this is what makes the Arc the best multitool in the world today.

I’ve carried a Rebar, every time I step out of the house, for years. Never broken, has served many tasks and gotten me out of countless jams over the years. Great company

Just received the arc obsidian as a gift (I asked for it). It is gorgeous. Whether the different look & feel matters is entirely personal but I’d have spent my money on it for sure and, now I have it, you couldn’t get me to swap. It looks the absolute nuts and feels magic in the hand compared to my trusty old Charge.

I’ve never wished I could save 3 seconds to open my can opener I carry the wave plus $95 and bought the pocket clip for $6, the bit kit for $29 and extension for bit driver for 20……. I’m going to wait on the ratchet and check reviews. I don’t need a case. I carry the tool clipped to my pocket. I carry the bit kit, the extender, a small light, and a small pen in a waxed canvas pocket pouch. It works for me.

Lost my p4 and got the Arc obsidian as a replacement. I like it. Similar size, weight, and function. And it looks good. I got so used to the one-handed use that I can't go back.

I’d go out and buy an Arc today if it had an option for a serrated blade. I already carry a main blade so having a serrated blade would be awesome

Love the Wave. It's done much for me and others for nearly a couple decades. Great tool!

Leatherman wave is just a standard working man’s tool the arc is fancy shite that will do the same thing as a wave but each to their own

just purchased it as a gift for myself. I currently have a wave+ that was gifted to me from a work colleague some time ago who realized I was in need and needless to say im able to purchase my own now so i'll be gifting my wave+ to one of the new guys. I better understand your judgement of the piece, you're not negative towards it you are merely saying "its not worth the price" and after watching a few more reviews I myself i see that. but its pretty and i want it so therefore i'll treat myself just this once and will do better research before making such a purchase in the future because GHADDDANM that price. LOL!

Carried a wave for a long time and a surge too. The biggest disadvantage is the two handed opening and the smaller tools being located on the inside. It was such an inconvenience to use that I just stopped a task to go grab my toolbag more than I liked. The arc fixes those problems for me. The blade being premium steel also means I don’t have to carry a dedicated pocket knife like my Spyderco pm2 anymore. It sits in my car now

Recently bought a LM Arc and I’ve been carrying it everyday for work. Works amazing and easily accessible tools make it a convenient tool…. It is exactly that a tool so to be used as a tool is the only way the price is justified

Buy the surge if you want a bigger multitool. I would go for a bit extender with 1/4 bits from wiha. I have the wave+, surge and arc but I choose the wave plus with a pocket knife with a better type of steel. The arc is very nice but I pay 300 euros (330 dollars) here in Europe which in my opinion is too much money for that money you can put together a nice EDC set with a wave +. Again nice video ❤... and after a year of use that wave wil flip like a arc

There are only a few of us, but the Wingman is perfect.

I own both multi tools and I can say the wave plus has a more sturdier feel and design then the ARC if your trying to heavy outdoor stuff the wave plus takes it. I find myself using my wave plus more then my arc because of those reasons.
