#XoneQuickTips - Al runs you through how to set up your Xone:K series controller via X:LINK for remote software control.

In this example we're using the Traktor Pro 3, Xone:K2, Xone:23C, however, fundamentals apply for the whole Xone series.

New owner of a Xone 96 and a used K2. did't got it working at first. Checked this video again and 1: it's the 'out' on the K2 (my brain was convinced it should be 'in') and 2: the MIDI knob on the 96. #BOOM let the mapping begin

I'm using 23c + K2 in Traktor 3 on PC instead of Mac. I've followed the instructions seen on this video. The K2 lights up, but doesen't send or recieve MIDI. I could use some help if you don't mind.

PD: i've updated all drivers and firmware for both devices. And both devices WORK when plugged by individual USB cables, it's only the X-link I have problems with.

cheers! guys, i got a db4 and a k2 so here is my question: can the control surfaces of K2 be used in traktor via x-link connected to db4 which is connected to the computer via usb? here is the layout again schematicaly: pro 3. so is there a way to make the K2 control traktor functions with this layout, or do i have to connect the K2 through a separate USB?

I tried and tried and I can't get this setup to work. I have used this same RJ 45 chord for CDJ's with Pioneer equipment. Frustrating...
