I thought it worked until I was brought to the Activation Locked screen--which requires a password. The whole point of this is to reset because we don't know the password! Doing this for my mom who doesn't remember her password. Wasted time.

False the 4ukey will not let you reset your phone like it did back then they are telling people that they can only factory reset the phone if u are able to pay the trial. I did not get any of the instructions wrong and i have tried many times so i believe that the 4ukey will not help at all trust me or dont i have no way to factory reset my phone i have done this for half the day already and that takes a while
