Thanks so much. I didn't install this myself and didn't know the camera has it's own plug. Everything went down and I lost the video you just showed me what was wrong. I coudn't figure out where the extra adaptor came from. Got my video back thanks so much...

Okay. For anyone having this issue, here's the solution.. tag the cameras and both ends of the corresponding cord. (Put a tag number on camera 1 and tag both ends of the cord you've assigned to it also with a #1.) I used tape. Next put an underline under the tag number at the end of the cord that will be plugged into the splitter near the DVR. This will be the red connector with a male end. After you tag all the cameras and both ends of all the cords it will help you for the initial set up and also for later if you should disconnect them and have to reconnect them. This is my second time to have this system. I made it easy this time. 👍

I just got a swann system. Do you know if Vivint security system is compatible to this? Maybe use same wiring from Vivint cameras?

You have connected to all the DVR, I want to know where does the blue Ethernet port wire go from there? My router only has one connection point (blue) but does have the same connections in yellow. Can I use this instead seeing that I cannot remove the existing cable??? Thanks.

Hi. Great intro for Swann. I have an older version, was working then screen went black. 2 x screens with this message “input -d” … we had bought new cable but same msg on both screens. What do you think it could be?
