That camera makes it hard to give this phone up

I've had the Pixel 2 XL, 4 XL, 6, and 7 Pro. 2 XL was amazing at the time and the 7 Pro hits those same heights for me. I have _zero_ complaints.

I've also been maining the GP7P for the entire year, and I have virtually no complaints. The Tensor G2 doesn't feel slow at all, unless you're coming from the S23 ultra which most people probably aren't

Love this kind of long term use update

I've used the Pixel 6 for the last two years. Still great.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with the pixel 7s performance. The software is butter smooth and the camera is ungodly. The only complaint is the battery ain't as good as it could be

I myself learned how the camera glass shatters randomly and how Google returned it unrepaired and are delaying replacing it for 8 months now.

My p7p has been great. Android 14 has speed things up a lot too. Apps like McDonald's and reddit run a lot faster and are more reliable than ever. The phone itself feels more snappy too. I will be doing a factory reset soon just to get a fresh start so that there is no reason for things to be slowed down at all

I've used the Galaxy S22 Ultra (with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC) and I have to admit I have never truly seen a difference in day-to-day use compared to my old Galaxy phone with a midrange SoC. Admittedly I am not an avid gamer or photo/video editor but I've never truly seen the need for such meaty specs so I can definitely see where the Tensor G2 (aside from it's thermals and battery life) can be an appealing choice with the software suite to match. Hopefully the Tensor G3 will improve largely on the flaws the G2 has though.

I ahave the pixel 7 pro too. i got mine on January 11th. The phone has overheated so many times sometimes i would think the phone would catch on fire. But something I love about the phone is all the features and the camera ofc. Google phones have so many exclusive things.

I bought a used P7Pro as an upgrade from my OnePlus 7 Pro that's been falling apart for the last few months and I'm really excited to see what an upgrade the pixel will be

If it slows down or starts acting up on CPU, do the factory reset. This is not an issue with the Pixel but with Android in general.

I used this for about a month and a half - I definitely prefer the S23 plus and Oneplus 11 for different reasons. The s23 Plus' flat display, build quality, battery life and DEX mode are great for me and the Oneplus 11 has that IOS style volume slider, feels better in the hand and can last nearly two days on a 35 minute charge with an 80w charger. The P7 Pro has it's advantages like camera and speech to text but overall it's not aging as well as it should.

I had a 7 for 6 months, it was both the worst and best phone i ever used, cameras were awesome, but everything else was terrible for me. Battery was bad, it was always hot, almost never hit the 90hz refresh rate, and the software was so fucking buggy. I returned it after 6 months, got a used iphone 11 i fixed up, and this phone has done everything i need it for, I’m glad you and others have had great experiences with these phones, but i was not one of them.

The pixel 7 pros battery is pretty good I have had the phone for a few months now and will all the settings on maxed out on an average day it's still at 60 and the charging is pretty fast and the speed is still good enough for most people and it's fairly cheap.

I do like mine a lot. I was going to trade it in for the iPhone 15 Pro but MUST wait to see the Google Pixel 8 Pro first.

The only complaint that I have with the p7pro is the modem, is good in normal scenario but in harsh conditions is really bad, it heats up quickly and battery goes down really fast...

The Tensor is a joke unfortunately.

Also Google REALLY needs to fix their terrible portrait mode. They should use the 50MP sensor to implement a lossless (cropped) 2x zoom just like every other flagship has at this point.
