CAN I STILL GET INTO DENTAL SCHOOL WITH A LOW GPA??? | WAIT BABY FAMILY

When I started undergrad there were A LOT of firsts for me. I never had anyone to tell me the level of focus that I needed to become successful when it came to my academics. I was exposed to so many things at once that my attention was all over the place and I was not focused on the main important task at hand which where my grades.

I WANT TO MAKE THIS CLEAR...... After graduating undergrad with my 2.7 AA GPA and 2.6 science GPA I applied to multiple schools NONE of them accepted me because I had a low GPA and my DAT score was 15.This lead me to get my Masters in Biomedical Sciences, which I will talk about later on in the following videos!

Throughout my academic career, I have had so many teachers and advisors tell me that I am no capable of getting admitted into dental school because of my grades. Yet I didn't give up on my dreams and I continued to push forward and navigate my way to achieving my dream.

After watching this video, if you're going to take anything away from it, take this..... No one is going to believe in you more than you are going to believe in yourself. NEVER give up on your dreams and aspirations. No matter the obstacle find ways to navigate through it and overcome it in order to get to the next level. It's all about adaptation, you got to find ways to adapt in order to get to the next stage! Never quit because if you quit you will never know what you could have had accomplished!!!

Sorry to those academic advisors, but you are not right to tell students you can't be based on their grades. Omid did, I did it too, many are doing it too. Stop discouraging students. I totally agree with you Omid; I never regret that I stayed focused on my academics. I still attended my favorite social dance events too. Everything is possible, only needs balancing prioritizing.
