Climate Action Schools: Meet the School Climate Audit

Our global schools who participate in the Climate Action Schools program have the opportunity to experience a school wide climate audit. The audit allows members of the school community to examine current practices—see what is working well and areas for growth. The audit allows classrooms to see first hand the connections of activities to impact on the planet—creating a baseline for growth. Moving forward as scientists and change makers, teachers and students in action research to make a difference in areas that matter most to them. As the school year comes to a close, we will move back through a post-experience audit and build our data visualization skills as we show impact both qualitatively and quantitatively. Then—all the data from all the schools will come together to show the power of collective action—little actions that add up to big change! See you soon!
