A dog and baby emu have formed an extremely unlikely - but adorable - friendship and now do absolutely everything together.

Pooch Max, a cattle dog and retriever mix and Frankee, the baby emu, are the best of friends and even take naps together after first meeting on January 6.

Videos captured by their owner, Shannon Ferrin, 26, from Perth, Australia, showcase their inseparable bond.

Shannon, a a wildlife carer and brought Frankee home from work to give him around the clock care but after introducing him to Max, he now gets the constant care and love he needs.
