It did dlc packs, but also free characters. These characters could be used as dlc

Hyori isn't playable, but she is part of shinjis kit. I don't think white shouldn't be dlc, he should just be a skin for ichigo. Although baragan should definitely be playable!

Theres alot of content in this game that is just "there" but isnt "playable". Im HOPING they DONT try selling us stuff thats already there. But I DO hope we get those characters down the road

Could just be that we don't know much about their powers, at least in Hiyori's case
I do wanna see Hachi become a playable character tho, I think his focus on more defensive powers could be really interesting translated into a fighting game setting

This game came out not too long ago and I've seen so many people panic or be upset, like can't they just chill and wait till we know for sure, it's gotten a lot of crap already for it because people think a game needs dlc content the same week it's released, they had/have to fix bugs still, gotta give it time

Well, we sorta know who the first DLC characters are. Unohana's data is partially in the game (It's super incomplete, but we have her model as both Retsu Unohana and Yachiru Unohana). Others in the leaks are listed as Yhwach, Ichibei, and Final form Ichigo (True Shikai > Horn of Salvation). While we have a Load of characters and their actions, If Bamco Namdai wants to entice more people back, after all the kinks are out, they might give out "Free Character packs" as an apology so they can get free good karma. Also, especially fighting White in the story mode, he's basically Ichigo with a bit of animation differences, and like how we saw the sealed Zanpakuto Ichigo being just Shikai Ichigo with his moves hidden, and how the nameless Shinigami use Kira's move set, we sorta can guess why some of the characters aren't normally playable, since they're clones with less moving parts/not fully balanced.

I hope the devs make a dlc for the fullbring arc like how the demon slayer game got the mugen train arc just my opinion anyone who replies is entitled to there own opinion. 😊

It’ll be a free story pack DLC most likely which will include all the story mode characters minus the menos and huge hollows respectively they all have movesets so I doubt their models will go to waste like that they are most likely just unfinished

The DLC has already been confirmed to be TYBW only and no talks of any kind of season 2
