I saw the passage of the first Russian launch, then the landing on the moon, but this still is wonderful beyond words. Hopefully we’ll find we are not alone. And considering there are those who think we’ll all be killed by the unbridled greed of a few, maybe be able to commit to a future where our planet’s inhabitants survive those who think only of wealth in their lifetimes.

I wish humans would look after the beautiful planet we currently live on. Mars doesn't have beautiful forests, vast oceans teeming with life, a wide variety of landscapes, a myriad of wonderful species. Earth is rather special, abundant and colourful. Please look after it and heal it, instead of trashing it and moving on to destroy another planet.
