All phones have a limit of attempts...

At least for years

I love how the steps to prevent this literally does nothing against this attack

Every google, samsung, and apple phone I've used has a limit to the number of incorrect fingerprints you can enter before requiring another method. Which Android phones allow unlimited attempts?

huh? I've never seen a single phone that doesn't have this feature.

There are limits in place on most of the phones. This method requires physical access to the phone, it's a hardware man-in-the-middle attack between the sensor and the processor. Sumsub pls be more precise.

Enable 2FA so that to unlock your phone you need to unlock it 🤡

It's not a web phishing attach. It's a physical attach. This seems confused or mistaken.

The steps you said do nothing to prevent the attack, and the attack would take years to successfully infiltrate a device. Also, most android devices do indeed have limits on the amount of possible fingerprints.

i dont know on which devices did you test it but almost every phone with fingerprint sensor limits the number of unlocking attempts via fingerprint sensor

It's impossible to protect yourself from the fingerprint attacks because they have access to your data forever. Please use passwords. It's alot safer. If you forget the password, then it's easier to recover. With fingerprints, or any biometric data - it's impossible to change the fingerprint, for example.

This guy is right and The attack needs physical access to device and the attackers also needs an access to fingerprint database which is very hard to retrieve on the Also with both, atttacker needs to make an AI that combines the database together to Generate possible combinations... And the attacker needs a small device, wired together to perform the fingerprint attack

I challenge you to go find a modern android device, owned and regularly used by over 3 million people, that does not lock you out after a certain number of failed attempts.
