I know you aren't a "bass player", but I wouldn't mind seeing a few more videos on bass. I've been messing around with bass for a few years off and on, nothing sounded remotely like music. Or till I started watching your videos, within an hour or so I could play my first riff. Granted, it was sloppy but it sounded like music. Thank you!

I have been watching a ton of beginner bass instruction videos, and your are seriously the best out there - I especially appreciate the way you call out the fret numbers while you are playing. So many of the other instructional videos leave me guessing what notes they are playing -- and they play so fast. Also, I appreciate how you get to the nitty gritty and have an easy persona -- so many of the other instructors annoy the crap out of me. Best, K

Thanks heaps for putting up bass lessons, I have always loved your teaching style, but I could never get the handle of guitar as I can't change chords quick enough. The bass is the instrument for me progressing to keyboards because you play the notes within the chord just the same.

Hey Marty, I’ve been tuning in to your channel sense the beginning and I just wanted to know that I think that god has blessed you with the gift of teaching music. Funny enough, I was talking to my dad this morning about guitar and he recommended you and I had to laugh because we both like your style and didn’t know it.
