I heard this for the very first time last week (June ‘22) in a bar on a cruise ship. The band singing almost stopped as I was laughing so hard, the lead singer was being put off. Fair play to her, she name checked me afterwards. The people at the other tables couldn’t believe I’d never heard the chant before. A week later and I’m still giggling. Going to dig out the old Smokie vinyl now!

Me .. one of the best memories of my dad, he loved this song and would play it daily he passed away when I was 9. I now play it once a day 💘
