Thanks to the new BIONZ XR image processing engine, many of the same formats are available as on the Alpha 1 and Alpha 7S III. 10-bit 4:2:2 All-Intra at up to 600 Mbps is provided, for high image quality.

Not only is it simpler to perform colour matching with S-Cinetone equipped cameras, the 10-bit 15+ stops dynamic range S-Log3 also matches with professional movie cameras, making post-production easy when shooting with multiple cameras.

Creative Look is available even for movies and is effective for immediate delivery. Users can create their own original looks by adjusting parameters from the 10 looks provided.

AF is also vital for movies. The cameras and lenses in the Alpha series are designed as a system to achieve practically reliable AF even in difficult scenes.

4k 60fps in ff would have been so wonderful, A7SIII has 4k120fps so no competition there you know... 4k 60fps in ff was so much wished for, even if not 10bit. Now hopes goes to the firmware updates... there is still hope... Regardless, still a very amazing camera overall 👏

There are some micro-jitters in some of the shots - eg. 1:01 on the car lamps - centre of frame. What's causing those?

after shoot many music vids and travel and my kids with a7 s II, fro many years. I thought the a7 s III, wa s a bit soft, only 8.5 ( somthing ) mp on video. And now this came, finally . Panasonci a1H for film / movie, and Netflix stuff, but this is the best B cam I could wish for. Thnks sony :)

Good Job Sony. But I will stick with the Sony A7III....I am slowly realizing the importance of lights and camera lenses and realizing that those should take priority over buying a new camera again Sony A7IV looks great.

One of the big disappointment - 4k 60 fps only in APS-C mode. Really? It could be a super tool to replace the previous one (7lll) with this feature in FF. Sony fans are a little sad.

i have alpha a7iv (purchased on feb 14th)when i take photo standing in sunlight, 10 min is good. then i click the shutter button camera is going to off....what can i do now?

Obviously it's a pretty handy camera... But Sony a6000 can also make many of these shots... Thanks Sony... I love my a6000 and my sister loves a5100

Love it, but it is still the A7III with some minor adjustment that the A7III lacks ..

Strangely, I much prefer the creative picture profiles and not these examples of S Cinetone. It seems washed out and grey, rather than the edit-ready output that it's supposed to be. The eye tracking AF is remarkable, though. Has there been any word about the slow motion capabilities?

I was planning to upgrade from my A6400 to A7IV in the hopes of getting 4k 60 fps in FF. Now I've changed my mind and will continue to use my A6400.

Nice Camera Sony! but the LCD Display screen seam to be crappy .. why not 1, 44 Mio Pixel ? even Nikon have 2 Mio Pixel at the Z6
