Fully Italian, Fully American: Introducing Italian Citizenship Jure Sanguinis

Many Americans of Italian heritage might be surprised to learn that they were in fact born not only as citizens of the United States but also as citizens of Italy. In this video I introduce this concept of jure sanguinis and the way in which a reconceptualization of ourselves not just as Americans but as Italians as well could contribute to a better understanding of our place in the world, as well as to the wider Italian American Renaissance.
