In this video I show an important setting that you can enable in Windows that may save you from being locked out of your computer. If your PIN stops working and you have no other sign in options enabling this one setting will save you from being locked out of your computer. If you are in the Savannah GA area stop by my shop and say hello.

Great video once again Tim.
No 20 mins just to skirt around solution to make a longer video, respect to you.
Having a restore point saved so much hassle for customer and data.

Tim .. To get into auto repair quicker ( rather start up shutdown couple of times ) is to hold left shift down and click restart .. Cheers for the Vid Sir

Always good to have System Restore activated in case latest Windows Update screws up your PC. It can save you a lot of hair pulling and headaches. Thanks for sharing this tip.

I always use restore points! If you don't think it's worth the space, you need a larger drive! Great video.I wonder how many people aren't aware that restore points are off by default?

Good video Tim, Hopefully that malware wasn't to difficult to remove. Guessing it was just a reinstall of windows?

Thanks for the video, Tim. It is always advisable to ensure system restore is set on as you say. System Restore being off by default is "criminal" on Microsoft's behalf.

I would create a restore point on boot login, clean the machine and then do another restore point

So that malware just got around Norton? I used Norton 360 tried it out and got rid of it because Windows Defender is better. I haven't seen that type of malware in a long time.

Why create that restore point at that point? It’s still got malware on it.

Darn i was hoping to see you do virus removal just to see what all is in there.

It's sometimes unreliable. I would rather concentrate on proper security and virus removal.
