Heard a story about a farmer that took his time one year to use a flat breaker to turn the soil on a field that he rented that had grown up in cocklebur, the next two years he did very little tillage had a few cockleburrs but not many he retired and another farmer leased the ground and they were talking the new renter ask how he controlled the cockleburrs and the farmer said no deep tillage. The new renter hit it that spring with heavy tillage and was overtaken by cockleburrs couldn't understand why.. a cockleburr seed will stay viable for several years will not germinate till conditions are right!
By the deep tillage hed put harmless seed into the right conditions for germination..

John: nobody sprays on GMO. GMO is when the genes of the plant are modified to improve specific traits. Traits such as increased yields, round up resistant, drought resistant, etc.
John you really should know what you are talking about before you speak
