As much content as you've given us over the years, I don't think anyone would complain if you needed a break. I think most of us can relate to that. there's been a few times I've just gone back to my cheaper, basic cars. Almost like a reboot, refresh. You're the best bro!!

The Traxxas Stampede 2wd Brushed was my very first Hobby Grade RC Car/Truck which I still use today. It's been upgraded to a VXL Brushless system now, but it is still great fun and have many various painted bodies for it. My most recent aquisition is an Arrma Felony. I probably have close to 40-50 different RC cars/trucks now, but my Stampede is still a great favorite just to do some quick bashing...

Even though most of us have some high end expensive cars, I find it great fun & rewarding getting out & running some cheaper lower end cars now & again.

Man I love my Bigfoot (just a 2nd brushed stampede of course) but this thing is what I grab every single time it rains. AND it has good nights now. Licensed body. As I said very waterproof. And I’ve given the Bigfoot version hell and nothing has broken. Very fun cars.

Wow, that thing moves way better than I thought... I'm guessing I'm not the only Stampede under appreciator
BTW, if you're on a budget, watch for sales. The sale prices in 2022 were next level - massive savings. I doubt that's going to change with the cash crunch on people these days

Nice running and does wheelies like brushless.

Something to be said for a brushed motor in a small space.

Still got my 2wd Stamped since 1999! It’s all updated now the only thing is the trans with posi, harden gears and chassis that’s still original. Everything else is either present day Traxxas and SMC brushless ESC and Motor.

Despite having higher end rigs, my Skully is still one of my go-to’s! Heck so is my brushed Bandit for that matter!👍😊

Once you hit 5, 000 videos you can take a break Jay. Lol. Hey, they send you the new Redcat Drift car?

I love mine! Bought in late summer 2015, maybe early summer 2016 (I have time blindness). Anyways, it has been a great little truck and after replacing the weak parts with RPM products and installing metal driveshafts, it is near indestructible. By far one of my favorites right next my B4.1.

I had a 2wd Stampede a couple years ago, been missing it recently. I really want to build one from scratch but have been holding off because of how much I will spend to do so. You are really not helping me not want to build one! Hope you keep making videos, we all really look forward to them

Back to basics. Great fun. I've been wanting to add a new 2wd to my collection and have been eyeing the Stampy, Rustler and Slash. But in brushless. After watching your latest video, I didn't realize just how quick the brushed version is.

Brushed have come a long way since when I first started in RC. My first RC was a Tamiya Blackfoot build kit back in 1986. You can still buy the Blackfoot today. Motors and more so batteries have really gotten so much better over the years. Horrible mechanical wiper speed controllers have been replaced by ESC's.

Back in 1986 nicads were the best batteries available, They were expensive then at @ $100 a pack ($267.00 today with inflation). And they only lasted @ 2 minutes, They then took @ 12 hours to recharge. That got tired real quick and my RC interests waned.
