NASA Discovers a Strange Planet Similar to Earth with an Unknown Atmosphere!

The Jet Propulsion Laboratory of NASA has identified a new planet three times the size of Earth. TOI-1231b is a planet 90 light-years from Earth.

The planet, a temperate sub-Neptune-sized rock orbiting the Sun every 24 days, with a temperature comparable to that of Earth.

The planet's atmosphere has a temperature of roughly 330 Kelvin or 56.85 degrees Celsius, making it one of the coolest tiny exoplanets identified to date.

According to scientists, "one of the most surprising results of the previous two decades of exoplanet science is that none of the newly discovered planetary systems resembles our own solar system."
