I was just prescribed ResMed 11. This is my first time ever using a Cpap machine. My mask is the nose pillow. I cant compare it to anything previous, but I can say that this is my 2nd day using it. I feel amazing for the first time in many years. My wife said, my snoring is no longer an issue and that she thought I was "dead" because she was so use to me snoring up a storm and that was no longer the case. Use to have to take mid day naps just to keep going. The last 2 days have been awesome, I hope this continues to be the case. I really like the fact that I can check my progress on my Iphone. Both days have been a 99 score. As a small business owner and father I feel that Im able to get back into the swing of life without multiple coffees and naps. Life is good with proper "Sleep". I forgot how it felt. I feel great again. Good luck guys

I just tried your idea of how to get into the clinical menu, by touching both the blue and purple buttons at the same time and holding for a few seconds, and it worked! Thanks for the idea. The secret is out! :-)

Hello. Just recently been diagnosed with severe apnea and was approved to get a cpap from the insurance company. I was called by the cpap supplier and told that a machine was on order for me but that it may take some time due to the recall, CPAPS are in short supply. Anyway I just wanted to say that I have found your videos very informative and helpful and I have learned quite a lot from them. I can't wait to get my machine and begin therapy. Thanks for all the great videos and keep up the good work.

It has been over one month that I reported my DreamStation 1 and serial number to Philips and all I got was a form letter warning me of the dangers and to stop using it.
I am in the USA and Medicare was paying for my machine but after one month of falling asleep during the day I decided to just buy one outright on my own. I got the
Resmed Airsense 10, a new one for a good price through a medical supply company. It will be so good to have my sleep therapy again. Thank you, Nick for the info on the new Resmed

I just got my first machine- the resmed air sense 11. I've tried wearing it while watching tv and relaxing, but I've noticed that after wearing for about 30-45 minutes it starts ramping up the pressure. I'm awake and breathing fine but it's going up and up. My range is 5-15. I thought it was supposed to only deliver higher pressures if it's sensing obstruction and you need higher pressures. Am I wrong about this? The respiratory therapist hasn't been helpful in answering this so far and honestly at 11+ the pressure is painful. I'm afraid to fall asleep and have it ramp up all the way to 15!

Hey Nick, NEWS FLASH FROM USA - Last night 7/28/21, I saw the first television advertisement on a Class Action law suit against Phillips CPAP. It was focusing on exposure to toxins and the diseases their customers could encounter not the recall itself. The advertisement referenced a team of lawyers and a number to call. Sometimes these ads are directed at getting your information by region then directing you to a more focused legal team. I'll see if I can catch them again but was surprised to see the advertisement I bet Phillips was too. Just wanted to let you know. Cheers, Your USA mate, Bob

Hey Nick, a huge thank you for your efforts in informing and supporting the cpap community. I managed to get a full refund for a 7yr old old Respironics System One from Philips at the end of last year so now in the market for a new machine. Any update on when the AirSense 11 might be released in Australia?

My resmed 10 stopped working in the middle of the night. Now it will not turn on. It’s less than a year old and I only use it 3 times a week.

Do you think going full touch screen is a step back? I used the Dreamstation go (touchscreen) for a year and recently changed to an air sense 10 (Lol..), I would think the physical buttons are essential especially for people with disabilities. I hope they have a hybrid system

I just got this one the other day. It is my first CPAP machine so I can't really compare to other models. But I can say it is very convenient, relatively quiet, and the information output is interesting(especially if you take the SD card and get complete data from an app like OSCAR). I have heard some people have a hard time getting used to CPAP and this was not the case for me, it was easy to use and effective from the first night.

I just got my ResMed 10. My sleep has improved greatly. The biggest difference is that I'm not waking up at around 4am feeling exhausted anymore. Now I sleep until 7 and feel great. If ResMed 11 is even better I'll get it of course :) I usually get an AHI at around 2-3 which already are good values. But Is there a potential to improve that even further to optimize my sleep?
