Windows 10 Not Playing MP4 Files | Format Not Supported | Codec Not Installed

Are you getting an error message saying windows does not support a file format? Is it saying the codec required may not be installed despite the fact that you were watching these same file types just a few hours ago? This is the video for you. This resolution fixed my problem in less than 10 minutes.

hey i installed it but my videos are still not showing but it plays the audio of the video

How code is missing if the camera was recording events in the afternoon from same camera. Example: it plays the event 5:00pm, 5:15pm, 5:30pm, at 5:45 where a crime happened where a man showed up at my open door with violence, and camera was right there same place indoor near the door right pointing to his face without him seeing. Why on earth, the media does not want to this part. What went wrong

Didn't work at all for me. Still can't play MP4 files that have either HDR PQ or CLOG3. HEVC extension install didn't work either

it doesnt work for me. it's another video player. and didn't play. but i think it's my flashdrive it's a 2 tb but same video from my `16 gb plays

That's weird, I've had VLC for a very long time and still MP4 files are not supported outside the VLC media player; so I'm guessing what you found was the media player being able to play these type of videos in it, but did you fix the plugin error on windows?... NOPE!

Dang man, your awesome, when I export my mp4 file to windows 10, it shows up as a audio file, after installing this (I know this app, just completely forgot about it) it worked perfectly fine, thanks ALOT.
