Bratislava Travel Guide - So Many Things to Do in Slovakia

There are so many things to see and do in the city of Bratislava, from historic churches and Bratislava Castle to a modern day pyramid and views from the UFO bridge.

As the capital city of Slovakia Bratislava is also home to the presidential palace.

Beautiful video with nice shots and great editing, too. I must say that you have all the facts right. To answer your question, the Blue Church was originally not all blue, just the tiles and roofs. The walls were painted blue during the reconstruction after the WWII. The word hrad means castle in Slovak, so Bratislavský hrad = Bratislava Castle. I would recommend to visit also Slavín (war memorial and cemetery for almost 7, 000 Soviet soldiers with great views) and Devín castle, more than 1, 000 years old castle (ruins) outside of Bratislava, but still very close to it. You visited pretty much all of the most important places in Bratislava 🙂
