DO NOT 'STRAIGHTEN' YOUR LEFT ARM

A straight left arm in golf can be a bad thing if forced into that position. Here is how you can create that alignment without "keeping" the left arm straight. DO NOT STRAIGHTEN YOUR LEFT ARM

EUREKA GOLF SWING
For more of Steve's tuition on a personal basis visit
For a golf swing that is CONSISTENT, provides a flat left wrist, compression, lag and more. Steve's EUREKA GOLF SWING is now being implemented in 52 countries taking the golfers game to a place that allows the body to turn, the flight to straighten and compression to become a reality.
The starting place is the "iron swing series" offering the set of the Eureka Golf Swing canes and a step by step tutorial of the full action.
REMEMBER: as Steve says, "There is a difference between opening your stance and aiming left".

Back to the source (Scotland) . The very best golf knowledge on youtube. Simplicity, not chaos.

This really is the key. Implemented this last week, worked out some kinks, then proceeded to dominate 18 holes on the weekend like never before. Pure iron striking all day felt amazing.
Anyone trying this out I highly recommend SLOWING DOWN your backswing. Get to the point where you feel like you can’t cock back any further with keeping that left arm straight and then let your hips bring the whole form down.
You’ll be amazed at how all of a sudden your back swing doesn’t have to go back nearly as far and your distance and accuracy increases massively

This is a great reminder for me that both hands play a role in maintaining lag - it's not just the lead arm. Thanks for this. I think it will help me.

I've actually never heard this one before... Glad I stayed up watching YouTube videos at 2:30AM. Can't wait to give this a try!

Thank you Steve, all your videos are so easy to follow, I’m 68 years old and my game has been improving.

I believe that you have just described the concept of extensor action as applied in the real world.
Golf is not a game of positions but of understanding how to control pressure applied through the hands.

Fellow instructor here Steve... I'm not a big fan of teaching early Wrist set and prefer naturally setting them, but it definitely can have application as both a feeling drill or even as a method but I have to say I never heard it quite explained this way and even tried it with a student today and it is quite a brilliant way of describing it so A+ my friend, always enjoy your views and experiments.

Been playing golf as a single figure player for years and didn't realise this move with the left pinky downwards, superb
Thanks

I went from barely being able to hit the ball, to breaking 90 in literally 2 weeks time all thanks to great videos like this one.
Number 1 thing I’ve learned: backswing is EVERYTHING

Struggled with this for years. Never had it explained so clearly before. Solves two problems, hand grip and left arm straightening. Thanks.

Omg steve, you sir are a genius, this is the simplest tip ive ever heard and has made the most difference to my swing, when i swing back now my left thumb is not even on the club (im a leftie by the way 😈), my left fore finger isn't trying to control everything and because my left elbow is tucked in nice and tight rhe whole swing feels soo much more compact and powerful.
Please keep up the great work, many thanks from a transformed golfer.

G'day Steve from Australia...omg, what great information...painless to execute...fantastic results. Takes so much pressure off my old, overweight body...carrying my 7 iron over 145m

Steve, it works! I tried it today and each shot had the THWACK sound you make with your shots. Long and straight. Your lesson renewed my love of golf. Thanks so much.

I love the “physics” of it. I’m spectacularly rubbish at feel but “physics” is how I explain power boating to students. So thank you for breaking it down into detailed specifics and more importantly “why” it needs to happen. 👍🏻👍🏻

Steve. Thank you for sharing this wonderful instructional video. This concept has allowed me to keep my right are much straighter as a lefty. Very good concept. Really allows me to have a better backswing. Thank you again

Interesting will try it out. I’ve seen the various vids about rotating the inside of left elbow out during setup to keep arm straight but your method here feels more natural.
