Password Reset System PHP and MySQL #3

In this video, I will show you how to implement a password reset system in PHP and MySQL database. We are going to send an email to the user containing the password reset link. When the user clicks on this link, they will be taken back to our website and prompted to reset (update) their password.

This tutorial builds on the groundwork we have already laid in the first two parts of this tutorial.

thank you very much again for this tutorial! I had to create a second mailcontroller for the reset mail, I'm not sure why but otherwise I got a fatal error which said that it couldn't find vendor.php. Meanwhile it worked for the confirmation register mail but not for the reset mail as well.

Modern browsers can do the email validity check when the input type is 'email'.

Fantastic Tutorial series. While testing I noticed that in the forgot password section of the authcontroller it does not validate if the entered email actually exists in the database before sending the recovery email.

Well followed ...thanks for your tutorial but I noticed if you but wrong username or email with a wrong password it displays an error message like "trying to access array offset on value of type null"
