How does a garden die? Quite beautifully. Spend four weeks with me today as my garden takes it's slow march toward winter. (Chapter markers down below) From the last round of incredible roses to yesterday's first frost, the death of a garden is quite lovely and sets the tone for shifting gears and focusing on the Holidays that are just before us. Death becomes her, I say. How does a garden die? It's not always drought and misery; once a year, we get to observe a garden dying back for a long winter's rest so she can be even more beautiful next year.
