The salt also prevents water to flow from the soil into the roots by osmosis. Its not a bad idea, but regulate the amount of salt you're adding.

Thank you for your great tips.. one suggestion I would make is fill the pot up with soil to the top, use a filler at the bottom of wood chips or whatever.. the higher the stem of the plant is, and it should be at least level with the rim of the pot, the better light it gets...

I am truly an Epsom Salt fan! It works for me- I used it to water my plants when they look sluggish or lifeless 👍
