Being 17 years old, if I even follow some of these tips I’ll for sure be the most mature and respected in class. Thank you!

"Speak to be heard, speak clearly, and speak slowly" nails it on the head for me.

It may sound silly, but if you have the opportunity to take an improvisational acting class you should do so. It's amazing what it will give you in terms of confidence, projection and communications skills.

Thanks for this video, Antonio. I'm an introvert, and I tend to avoid what feels like intruding or imposing on others. I find that the thing I have to work on is approaching groups of strangers. The tip you gave regarding physical space between individuals as an indicator to what kind of conversations to join into was on point.

Also, I wasn't even aware about perceived weakness when lingering in boring conversations. Ironically I feel selfish if I leave a conversation when other people are in the middle of speaking.

As an artist I tend to let my work do most of my talking, but that's made me complacent.Thank you so much for providing us with this free masterclass. I'd love to check it out and improve on making a pressence and commanding respect & attention.

Great point on finding group conversations where people aren't too close together, great way to identify whether they want privacy or not

As a referee in field hockey this is also very usefull. You want to have the respect from the beginning so your autorithy is being listened to and have control over everyone on the pitch to have a nice and safe game.

I must be getting weak or soft because the "Call Your Safety" tip made my eyes tear up. My safety was my old man when he was alive.

Insert pauses:
How does one handle it when someone constantly interrupts when you insert a pause? (Even very small ones.)

I too had trouble with Rs and Ws since 1st grade, but learned to embrace it, and it's something that makes me a little unique.
