it is almost 2018. we cant just blindly accept that our parents want the best for us. even in the west with 100% freedom, most parents do not know what is going on in their children's head. you cant just immigrate to a country, live there, have your children grow up there and expect they follow your ideas blindly. they are individual persons with their own souls and dreams. If you want to control your childs life, stay in your village and hope for the best

I saw the film at MAMI yesterday, superb work! The film is so relatable, I've seen my college classmates get married even before their degree was complete and so much more.

This film should be a mandatory watch for everyone

This movie has alot to offer to the society we are in right.How we misread the conception of protection over restriction we feel like we are protecting them by suppressing them but we don't get that the more we hold them the more they are gonna bounce back and at the stage of adolescence they need their parents the most because it's hard to cope with the changes taking place in them mentally and physically bondage for them specially at this stage leads to frustration which could lead to severe damage for the rest of the life's.

These movie is so much like Khuda Kay liye. Both of these movies are great. As soon as the Pakistani father finds out their daughter is dating someone out of their own ethnicity, they shipped their daughter back to Pakistan and forcefully make them learn and live and marry into their own culture.

Honestly I'm thankful I live in a country that women can enjoy their life and live with equal rights as men do.. There will be always differences but things are so much better now for women in a lot of countries... I hope things will change for women in eastern countries too... I hope they can educate their selves and understand they deserve a better life!

Adil Hussain is such a gem of an actor! I am proud to be born in the same land of Assam as him..it is tragic that Bollywood do not care about such good actors and only promote commercial ones..and I am desperately waiting to watch this movie..does anyone have a link or something?

Nowadays Im happily married with a man from another culture. There are responsibilities but not unnecessary mindless restrictions like what I was brought up with. I can for example now be allowed to travel by myself. Such experience couldn't have been acquired with the circumstances that I was in during my youth.
