SETI Scientists Are About to Make a HUGE Announcement

Extraterrestrial Intelligence hunters have been listening to the great expanse of space since the 60s, and now have an example of what a reply would look like. By testing their artificial intelligence with their synthetic data, the SETI Institute is preparing itself for a HUGE influx of possible messages from Extraterrestrials.

The Scientists at SETI, have been receiving and beaming signals into space for years. But what do these signals mean and how are we responding? The fate of humanity's communication with civilizations beyond our own has been entrusted to these select few.

Today we're going to take a dive into what an ET signal would look like, as we get one step closer to answering the question "What is out there?"

If intelligent life exists (the numbers support other planets with ET), we might have already missed signals. We have only been able to receive radio waves for about 150 years. If ET is smart (smarter that us), they started sending signals to all points beyond them a long time ago. It would take thousands of years to get here. That far back, ET didn't know for sure we existed. They would hope for return signals. It is possible we do get signals, we send some back. By the time ET gets them, they are a long dead planet.

Radio signals are the ultimate light speed traveler.

I always feel as if our species is in it's infancy with regard to the universe, so spending billions of dollars on trying to reach out to the great unknown is not a waste of money, rather it is an Investment in seeking to prolong our existence. I do however think caution should be used when sending out our technology. In my opinion, Intelligent life is not concentric to our dusty arm of the milky way galaxy, more than likely life abounds throughout the universe. Yes I'm a firm believer that we are not alone. I also believe in the UFO/UAP phenomenon after seeing strange things I've been unable to understand in the sky a couple of times in my life. The whole topic goes down so many differing rabbit holes that it is hard to pick out the wheat from the chaff, the fact from the pure fiction. So I don't know if it could be just microscopic life or fully fledged in control of their own environment life either way im 100% sure that life of some sort is out there. It has to be as there are so many stars out there with more & more exoplanets being discovered all the time.

The distances are so vast, most anything we could read coming from far off planets would have been transmitted some centuries or even thousands of years ago. That is if we have compatible technology to be able to read what any aliens may have sent out in to space in the first place!

Even if we did receive some type of signal that appears to not be naturally generated, and if we respond to it in some way it would probably take more than many human life times to get back to the source planet. As for language, it would most likely be impossible for any type of translation because we'd be dealing with something non other like we could be familiar with.

If any advanced alien civilizations do exist out there the vastness of space is a sort of protection for us. It would not be a good thing to be discovered by an advanced alien civilization that is hostile and for some reason of their own want to destroy us and take over the planet. This way of thinking has been brought up by military people and scientists.

As for another point of view when considering the UFO sightings in our skies that have been observed far before anyone here invented a way to fly, it would be obvious there are some types of aliens visiting here. They don't communicate with us and if they ever did, then someone is keeping a very big secret. For these aliens to have the types of crafts being observed and how they fly, it is obvious they are very far advanced than we are. They are probably millions of years advanced in their technology. Most likely they would be coming here to observe us and not want to have anything to do with us.

I am going to state, what I have previously stated! I currently do not believe that any space faring civilization that has Faster than Light (FTL) capabilities will not be using radio. They would get to their destination before the message did. So I firmly believe that we need to figure out how FTL communications can be made possible. I still think a constructed wormhole, that utilizes a small amount of power, that can be directed meets that criteria. Or any other possible tech, but radio is definitely a no go.

Existing aliens may not even be using any compatible communications systems to whatever we have! Therefore no possible way for our way of technology design and operations to have any way to detect what the aliens are using.
