Having the same experience as others. Used it one time to cook pancakes and now it is pretty stained and looks kinda gross. Scrubbed the heck out of it too with no luck.

We were pleased that this griddle was advertised as cast iron but were displeased when we got our range and realized it had a nonstick coating. Nonstick cast iron?!?! Never heard of it! I got rid of all my nonstick pans and nylon utensils years ago and exclusively use cast iron and stainless steel pans! What is this nonstick coating? Will it wear off and then I can use the griddle as plain cast iron??

First use of the griddle with eggs and hashbrowns and no matter how much you scrub it the residue does not come off and it looks That is awful for this expensive of a stove and is definitely not nonstick...

It looks like cast iron. Why can't you use metal and reseason? What is the nonstick made of? Is it really nonstick or just cast iron?

The flame doesn’t heat the entire griddle so the two ends are just wasted. Have to make 2 pancakes instead of 3. Even with cooking spray the stick. going to try “seasoning” it, but somehow not feeling that’s going to help.

Mine is still stained from the first time I cooked fish on it. Pretty disappointed. Are you supposed to pre-season with olive oil?

The burner doesn’t throw enough heat to make this a valuable feature.

Nah I buy Electrolux induction because is not available in Indonesia and I want an induction, not gas
