Derailment Delayed! Class Leader Tier 4 Gevo Leads a Big CN Train 306 w/DPU at Berry Mills, NB

With a few flurries falling, Canadian National Railway locomotives 3000 (Class Leader Tier 4 ET44AC Gevo), 3816 (ES44AC Tier 3 Credit Gevo), and mid-train remote dpu 2923 (ES44AC Gevo) power a long and heavy CN manifest train M306 (Toronto, ON MacMillan Yard to Moncton, NB Gordon Yard) eastbound through Berry Mills, NB at track speed hauling 154 cars (634 axles) of mixed freight including many crude oil, and LPG tankers. This CN 306 is running about 34 hours late due to the derailment of the previous CN 306 a few miles west of Edmundston, NB on the CN Pelletier Sub. The line was repaired and trains begin passing through the wreak site around noon on Thursday about 36 hours after the derailment on Tuesday evening.
