First off, what a nice back drop you have going on there with the candles! Secondly, I have been watching you for a long time now because I've been exhibiting many signs of MS and a physician friend of mine suggested I get checked. I did have an MRI a few years ago to rule out an acoustic neuroma (have had hearing loss, tinnitus, numbness and tingling on right side of face) If I had brain lesions would that have likely been picked up incidentally on the read? I heard somewhere recently that radiologists are getting away from reading/remarking on anything thats not specifically asked about/ordered. (This doesn't sound right). Anyway, thanks! Lastly, I'm so impressed with your way of teaching and sharing information. I think that all medical specialties needs an amazing educator like you to be able to go to for solid information on or off you tube.

You answered a question I've been wondering about. No new legions but having worsening after many years. I'll bring this up in my next appointment. I was told at 60 I don't need a DM.

Dr. B, thank you for reminding me of a question I failed to ask my new MS neurologist. Will they review my MRI with me or just read the results sent to them and reiterate those results on a call? The General Neurologist I was seeing at a different office would only have a staff member read me the results. I will have to ask my new MS specialist if this is their preference as well. So hoping it is not.

Thank you once again for a great video. Next month is my 1 year-since-diagnosed MRI. I'm taking your wisdom with me to my dr, and going to have them show me side by side comparisons. And coincidentally (probably from the stress of another MRI), I'm going through my first major relapse since starting Aubagio. :(

MS destroyed my appetite and forced intermittent fasting on me. I generally have to force myself to eat. I’ve gone from 296 to 212 and counting.

Hi Dr. B my question is does MS slow down when we age. For example if someone was diagnosed in their 40's with MS will MS attacks slow down the older they get?
