-1/2 lbs queso Oaxaca

Yes I grew up eating queso Oaxaca it's so good. My kids love it as well they eat it straight out the bag as a snack. My dad used to tell us his stories of how back home he used to eat tortilla con sal.

In my family we would do a similar thing to the salted tortilla, except we spread butter on it instead and then roll it up. Highly recommend

Instead of tortilla and salt I grew up with tortilla and butter it’s cool to see some other snacks made with tortillas.

always love reheating things that could dry out in the microwave with a wet towel/paper towel, like it'll soften/kinda lightly steam almost anything

My family is from Oaxaca and we call it quesillo. I get it shipped over from my family along with chapulines (toasted grasshoppers from Oaxaca) if you can get some and put them in that mix. Smaller ones are stronger in flavor and bigger ones are meatier and jucier they also have a nice crunch.

I had a chorizo fling. Ate chorizo, egg n cheese tacos for breakfast all the time. Probably gonna start doing that again now but swap out the chihuahua chews for this one.

I’ve never heard of queso flameado but I have tried queso fundido, they both look the same
