Logic Pro X - Master Track Mystery 🔎

In this video, I dive into one of those often misunderstood or even unknown components in Logic Pro X, the Master Track, or Master Channel Strip. It causes many mixes to go wrong, and even worse, undetected level issues.
With lots of graphics and animation, I cover the whole range from some basic concepts up to advanced Environment Window surgery. Tons of information for beginners and advanced users to provide a better understanding of this important component and many other related concepts in Logic that you might never have been aware of.
With additional examples of Logic Remote and GarageBand for macOS and iOS, I demonstrate the potential confusion and various solutions on how to deal with the Master Channel Strip.

Really great video - appreciate the depth of information shared. One thing to point out - the Master/VCA fader makes sense if you have a multi-output sound card/device. In that case, you can have the VCA control the Volume of all the Output channel strips at one time (including the Stereo if it's there). I believe this is the real purpose of making the Master channel strip a VCA. With only one Stereo Out channel strip, it doesn't really add anything (as you point out in the video). But with a multi-out audio device with multiple output channels, it makes more sense. And there's a Solo option to selectively disable the Master VCA control for any desired output channel.
