“Let me sue a guy who does investigative stories, and give him court sanctioned access to all my business dealings via the discovery phase of a trial.” Big brained move there

"You defamed me!"
"umm... I told the truth?"
"Yes, and it was devastating."

Hahaha of course he wants to sue. Another name to add on the iconic list of "I love Coffeezilla and his work until he exposed me" group.

I like how Coffeezilla keeps collecting lawsuit threats from idiots

It's so weird to me that, as a fan of Coffeezilla who appreciates his work, statistically I am markedly more likely to try suing him lmao

Coffee desperately needs that "I liked Coffeezilla before he called me out" merch line. Examples just keep coming out of the woodwork

Trying to sue Coffeezilla is definitely an admission of guilt.

God I hope he does sue. The discovery process would be highly illuminating, and CZ you can always crowd fund your defense.

"but I was more than right, I was wrong..." taken out of context but still going to be a new favorite phrase of mine.

Colin: "I know you're going to tell a fair story..."
Voidzilla: *tells a fair story*
Colin> "...and I took that personally."

Such unfounded accusations must be taxing. Kudos for handling them with grace and not backing down. Your fair coverage is commendable regardless of the threats.

The one reason I would want to see this go to a live trial is to hear Coffeezilla's lawyer call Jim Cornette to the stand and have another legendary Jim rant on the stand eviscerating Colin. Other than that, Kast media has proven itself to be less than trustworthy on its own.

Wonder if this will be like the Logan Paul "lawsuit" where he drops it as soon as he finds out how much will be exposed about his scam during discovery.

Coffeezilla, Theo Von, Jason Ellis and Jim Freakin Cornette….what a group that is 😂

Scott Thomson best be careful. Coffeezilla is a resident and citizen of Texas. IIRC, Texas has Anti-SLAPP legislation. Scott is going to have to pay for Coffeezilla's legal team when he loses. But the question is will the judge give Scott Thomson three or more attempts to "fix" his pleading, like the judges in the Lauren Mortician and Jeanette "Janet" Braun case and the Blair Illuminaughti case. It's obvious that they have no case, but the judge is working with the plaintiffs to extend the legal fees as much as possible to bankrupt the defendants.

Bankruptcy paralegal here: you list potential lawsuits because they are considered assets to the trustee and not listing them is considered hiding assets. The 0 value means there is a potential case, but not one he would file/win.

It's so bizarre how scammers are actual fans of Coffee. It's like a criminal who likes watching the show Cops

Damn, I pulled out the bingo card and the right-hand row almost formed a bingo, except I'm not sure if this guy ever said the classic, "If I'm a scammer, I'd be in jail" line.

We now need coffee to make an appearance on Jim Cornette while swinging a tennis racket.
