Word of the Day!
Frivolous - Adjective - not having any serious purpose or value.
Thank You

You could also add 3 more things Amish:
1. The registry accepting your case takes some time. It checks if all is in order.
2. The lawyers must charge a decent fee for their work. This too helps in this process.
3. The courts slap costs in cases they find to be an abuse or waste of their time.
My 3 pence. 😊.
Good work on your channel btw.

If someone wins by chance, he will get peanuts. It's based on my experience.

But this also hinders others from seeing higher some of monetary compensation
It should be proportional to sum
100k -1%
1000k -0.1%
10 mil - 0.01% and so on

The judicial system is flawed. It benefits the aggrieved party the least.
The non aggrieved party benefits the most.

If u cant pay then u have to reduce the amount from 2crore to whatever amount is reasonable of which u can give court fees...and file accordingly and
Say if u are like a pauper (indigent) then u can file an application for that court will exempt you to not pay court fees...but that ways you have to be like extremely poor
.court will see and tell whether you are poor or not ..in other cases if u are handicapped then it can be reduced but not exempted completely but in every other cases u can't..u have to bring down your suit value ok

Out of just curiousity, what if you can't pay? Like in reality it's pretty unlikely so if I was duped of 2cr I must have been rich enough to have 2lac atleast but in an imaginary scenario, what if I can't pay?

Sometimes even judges do the manipulation and directs the mediators to convince the petitioners to accept for divorce as appealant is asking for it and then demand to pay compensation without any questions

Suit for injunction court fee is almost nil. I am sure there are many suits where the court fee is very nominal. Till the courts don't award punitive compensation in frivolous cases they will continue.

Frivolous is a very wrong word. Its a mean to keep the system performing at subpar level. If this thing is removed the system can really be improved as there would be so many cases on so many important issues. Which might be frivolous for the court and govt but important for the person filing it.

A mere simple process of getting a driving license is such a pain and it will remain a pain for years to come due to this rather frivolous rule of court fee.

Here is interesting question, in ashok kumar order, how fees to be calculated as respondents are existing as well as prospective.
As it may include compensation plus injunction.
