Description
Building on probability, we now discover random variables and probability distributions, both of which are models for a population. We focus this week on discrete probability distributions, beginning with a simple table of random variables and probabilities. We then use mathematical functions to create binomial, poisson, and hypergeometric probability distributions, each with an Excel tutorial.
