One of the best lines in sports history delivered by Moses Malone after he broke the NBA mark for offensive rebounds in a season: “I want to thank my teammates who made it possible to set this record.”

Wow that escalated quickly. Wilt and Russell are levels beyond anyone else.

Bob Pettit not only with the third-highest career rebound average, but he's 8th all time in scoring average, became the first player in NBA history with 20, 000 career points (now 44th all time), and was on one of two teams to interrupt the Celtics run of 13 straight championships.

Wilt's numbers are eye-popping because he's 7'1" with a 45-inch vertical in an era of superfast pace and no 3-second violation, but Elgin Baylor's stats are eye-popping too. Never knew he rebounded that hard as a guard.

Wilt played in the golden age of centers. Avg center height was 6’ 10’ and many were Hall of Famers. 55 rebounds against Bill Russell in one game.

Russell and Chamberlain averaged in rebounds what most legends and Hall Of Famers that are known more for their scoring averaged. That’s crazy.

Andre Drummond is the first player I thought of when it came to rebounds

Folks, let me tell you a little something about Wilt, the man was so dominate in the NBA his name is damned near a stat line on it's own. The NBA record book should be re-named and called the "Wilton Chamberlain autobiography'.

To this date, 2021, the man STILL holds more NBA records than Jordan, Kareem, Bird, Magic, Kobe, and O'Neil put together. If THAT does not prove your the GOAT, then your argument SUCKS.

That music is pretty dramatic. Who else tried to scroll back by swiping the screen? Biggest surprise for me was Billy C.

I am a Dennis Rodman fan, and if you put stats into context, he may be the GOAT rebounder on paper. But.... if he played man to man on an actual BB court do you really think he would outrebound Wilt Chamberlain? C'mon man

Lets put numbers into perspective, Wilt Chamberlain Best Rebounding season was the 1960-1961 with 27.1 rebounds per game, that season league average rebounds per team and game were 73.3, thus means Wilt took on average 18.48% of the boards each game. Dennis Rodman Best Rebounding season was the 1991-1992 with 18.7 rebounds per game, that season league average rebounds per team and game were 43.7, thus means Dennis took on average 21.40% of the boards each game. So from my perspective Dennis Rodman was a better rebounder than Wilt Chamberlain because on average he took more % of the boards available on his games.

you know, for being so 'dominant', why Shaq only avg 10.9 rpg for his career? highest avg for a season was 13.9, and that was his rookie year. He talked about Rudy Gobert, but he avgs more rpg than he did? Kevin Love avg more than Shaq, and Love avgd 15 rpg one year, 14 in another.
