The two seasons he spent with the spurs are underrated. He put up monster numbers those seasons

Imagine if Dennis was 100% dedicated to his career without all the ejections, suspensions and had a positive mentality. Scary. The man was a beast without even trying.

Imppressive rebounds but passing the ball to his teammate as if he knew exactly that his teammate would be on scoring position is another level of intelligence of the game.

Crazy to think of you look at the man now, you would have no clue that he’s on the list of all time greatest athletes ever.

I watched Dennis throughout his career....his anticipation on rebounding was something to behold. I never seen anyone like that: he knew how the ball was going to come off the rim; he'd beat his man to the spot because he was a step ahead. That's a big reason why he won rebounding titles into his mid-30's or so. He wasn't as athletic at that was seldom as tall as the man guarding him....but that IQ...that the ball to himself like a volleyball player....but he was humble about it: "just doing my job." :)

One thing about Dennis that isn’t talked about enough, imo, is his passing. Dude would get a rebound and instantly and accurately get the ball to a teammate. What a beast.

In case you don't know, Sakuragi in Slam Dunk was inspired by Rodman, said the writer.

Its really sad that more people don't recognize how good he was, and respect him on that.

I read his book "Bad As I Wanna Be" as he stated turning rebound into an artform. That one rebound look like he was dunking when he was with the Lakers is a big example of that.

Never thought I'd ever watch a top 10 rebound highlight reel 😅

Number 3 is my personal favorite, the fact that he did it against another one of the greatest rebounders of all-time in Barkley and the subsequent defensive hustle he showed in order to get that chasedown block on Chuck is just perfection

When you have the best rebounder who can get the ball back everytime for MJ and Pippen. It's just unfair for every other team
