Responsible Project Management - with Dr Karen Thompson

What is 'Responsible Project Management', and what does it mean for the way we practice our profession? I spoke with Dr Karen Thompson, one of the leading thinkers in the field.

After her first career in information systems and technology, she moved into academia and received her PhD in Project Management from Bournemouth University, where she was a course leader for 4 years.

She is now the Senior Academic leading Responsible Project Management at The Schumacher Institute, which looks for solutions to the world's most pressing problems.

That’s why I wanted to speak with her about Responsible Project Management. We discussed:
