Amazing film! Made me emotional. Very disappointed by the Academy Award Committee that didn't give this film an Oscar. Meanwhile many other organizations recognized the quality of this film and gave awards.

This is perhaps the most important documentary on Netflix right now. I watched it hoping to check out content to show off what wide color gamut Dolby Vision + 4k could do. What it did was bring me into the world of the great barrier reef in a way I've not seen before. All the nuanced color so very important to this presentation and correctly used as a tool to deliver what the directors intended. By the end I cared a great deal. Thank you Netflix.

Okay, so I really you guys to know that you have been heard. I'm dedicating my life to saving corals. I do something to help corals such as trying to email animal charities to help them realize that so many coral are dying or I just inform someone about whats really going on in the ocean every day. I'm only a teenager but I'm currently creating posters to show people whats happening and what they can do to help. I just went you to know, ya got me.

Just seeing the trailer, I marvel at how my side (environmentalist for 30 years) is constantly "preaching to the choir". What we should be drilling into people, over and over, is how coral feed the ecosystem that feeds us. Period. A quote from this is "This has got to wake up the world" - sure, but only if you're already aware of how biodiversity works. Most scientists are. Most environmentalists. NOT MOST OTHERS...

This is an amazing film to watch. It is really really well made and brings across such an amazing message. I met the person behind the film tonight (he is the main guy in behind this all) and he is an inspiration. A fantastic idea to film the effects of coral bleaching to show the world the effects of global sea temperatures rising. Please, if have just read this, go and watch it. It is amazing.
