Harriet the Goose becomes a mom (LONG VERSION)

We got a guard goose for our chickens and named her Harriet. Little did we know how much we would fall in love with our goose. We decided we wanted more and got our goose eggs to hatch and raise goslings! This is her story! #geese #goose #gosling #goslings

This mama goose loves her keeper and trusts her so much to let her near the babies and even showed her affection at the time. I’ve never seen a goose so fluffy or for that matter tame enough to move her nest and then have her sit back on it or have you touch her eggs. Geese are very protective of their eggs and go after you. Love how she lets you help. What kind of goose is she. She’s so pretty

I've really enjoyed the vids of Harriet and babies. BTW it looks like they are munching on wild green purslane, which is edible for people as well as geese.
I grow it for the wild birds to eat. It's a succulent, so it provides lots of moisture.
