2021 Coffee Cocktail Challenge!

Показать описание
I have partnered with the Mr Black team for the second year of the Coffee Cocktail Challenge. The challenge gives at-home bartenders and cocktail fanatics the chance to showcase their best coffee cocktails made with Mr Black.
The 2020 Coffee Cocktail Challenge was a huge success with hundreds of home cocktail enthusiasts and bartenders from around the world coming together to show off their unique coffee cocktail creations. There were many impressive challenge entries ranging from espresso martini riffs, decadent dessert cocktails, to tiki-fied coffee cocktails. It was incredible to see such a diverse range of drinks that showcased the versatility of Mr Black Cold Brew Coffee Liqueur.
This year’s competition will be judged by members of the Mr Black team, myself (Steve the Bartender), and Drinks International Top 100 luminaries, Matt Whiley (RE, Sydney, Australia) and Tara Fougner (Thirsty Magazine, USA).
In 2021, the winner will take home the ultimate Bartender & Barista prize pack worth USD $2500, featuring a Breville Dual Boiler Espresso Machine, Yama Cold Drip Tower, bar equipment and glassware from Birdy by Erik Lorincz and Kimura. The winning cocktail will also be featured on my YouTube channel and in Thirsty Magazine.
“As people have spent more time at home over the last 18 months, many have rediscovered the joy of making cocktails. No longer does wine and beer have a stranglehold on the 6pm slot at home - it’s cocktail hour and Mr Black is front and centre. Over the last year Mr Black has really become a staple in the bar-cart of many cocktail connoisseurs around the world. This competition lets these epicureans flex their skills in front of a global audience.” - Tom Baker, Managing Founder Mr Black Roasters & Distillers
I can’t wait to see what everyone has in store for us this year after seeing the creativity and quality of cocktails last year!

ABOUT MR BLACK
Mr Black Roasters & Distillers was founded in 2013 by awarded-distiller Philip Moore and designer-turned-coffee-snob Tom Baker. The two shared a common belief that coffee (when done well) is delicious, drinking is a lot of fun and we should put those two things together more often.
In Australia, coffee is more than a flavour. It’s a culture: a ritual, obsession, aesthetic, experience and community. Mr Black embodies that culture and inspires people to take their love of coffee into their evening drinks.
It’s Mr Black’s mission to make people care as much about coffee liqueur as they do about their morning coffee. By sourcing ethically and producing with integrity, they lift the value of coffee, improve communities, and make better drinks along the way.
