You should call the truck Elsa, clearly.. its blue, its frozen and once you are done with it, it will most likely sing beautifully!

Hey man im a tech at mercedes and we have a sl65 at the dealer thats been here for 2 years with the same misfire you are encountering on the cl. This car however is stock, but we have replaced everything from ignition modules to fuel pumps aswell the tank with its internal pump etc.. mb field tech came out and were there for weeks trying to figure this v12 mercedes out. During their diagnosis they found that unplugging the fuel pressure sensor by the rear of vehicle triggered a cel and the fuel system went into fail safe which is max load and the vehicle would drive and can go wot with no misfires at all. But it would get 3 mpg. Its worth a shot alex and i hope you read this and try it. Also the issue ended up being a clogged cat. On the passenger side.

Alex you absolutely need to try deoxit, it is magic stuff for electrical component corrosion. I just put any corroded stuff in a bath of it.

Man, I ventured up to the UP from the northwest suburbs on Tuesday. Passed a Chevy express van with THE “patina” the tollway headed into Wisconsin. Knew it had to be you (in the slow lane??). I should’ve paid more attention. Get it! Alex!

Alex, turn those giant ceiling fans on (usually counterclockwise for winter), get that heat down to the floor instead of it hanging out up at the high ceiling.

Love the name frozenado. I have wanted to say for a long time, I love the fact that you do things right. I like watching other revival shows but hate how they go about getting engines running. You do it the right way and you really care about the work you do. Thank you for being a breath of fresh air.

Back in the day, I would spend Saturday morning watching the Powerblock. Now, LSC is my Saturday morning ritual. Plus, I get to watch reruns through the week! Keep up the great job, sir. It makes me feel good to see someone succeed through hard work and determination. My only critique is, finish the Eclipse!!

I am a retired quality engineer for a GM supplier.. all of their electronic controllers are sealed and pressure tested during manufacturing. This truck will run when dried out well. My only concern is fuse box and relay corrosion.

Tons of activated mold spores now live in Alex’s shop. What a video

Oil floats---that's the good news, and it's fresh water, and that's the next best good news.

It’s only proper to call her Elsa. And I believe rancho 32:06 shocks are part of the z71 package? At least it is on my 2024

I never comment, i so want to see where this vehicle takes us all. this is a cool project and huge risk. keep on keeping on Alex from Australia.

34:57 The lack of oil is due to the engine being totally submerged. As the engine filled with water, the water displaced (floated the oil) and forced the oil out of the top of the engine.

Hi Alex. I rescued a 2019 Silverado 1500 in similar condition, well, without the ice. But the water reached the height of the dash. I assure you that you will have to replace almost all the electronic components on the dash. One piece of advice. Open and completely clean the transmission. The water stays inside it even if you change the oil 3 times. Don't ask how I know.. lol. It is currently my daily and I love it.

My percentage just went to 80% after watching the entire video. You are a legend my man. $5300 for a 50k miles Silverado, I know there is some $ and a lot of work left to do but as long as the block isn't cracked on the engine you are going to make a pile of money on this truck brother. Keep up the great videos Alex.
