Ah Joseph ! So wonderful. Now I don’t feel so alone in my thoughts of separation and have been seeing this since I was a child. 🧒 just couldn’t put it into words. So grateful and beautiful all at the same time ❤

Something crazy happed to me yesterday. So we were at a lake, it's a really beautiful gated community and there's mansions on the other side of the lake, which is all private property, but the side that we were on has a park and walkway. So my bf and I decided to go there, or rather we spontaneously found ourselves there even tho it's an hour from where I stay because our initial date ended early and he suggested we go somewhere else. So the convo is flowing smoothly and the sun is setting, I swear it was magical coz the lake looked orange and gold from the sun and the lights from the city behind looked like stars so I took so many pics and you could hear faint classical music coming from the mansions.

So I told him "Sunsets are my favorite" and he was like "Yeah, you told me you like when the world is winding down and the energy is more quiet so you can think. And you're a night owl and your genetic test said so too. You told me that when I said I liked sunrises the most coz I'm an early bird." So I was pretty happy that he remembered exactly what I said on our first date. I was like "Yeah, I can finally think when everyone else is asleep, it's complete freedom." So he took my hand and said "You seem to really value your freedom, " and I don't know what made me use these words at that moment, but I said "Yeah, I'd defend it with my life!" and right on cue this huge rottweiler comes charging towards us. It's on a leash but the owner can't control his dog coz the dog is bigger than the owner. And before I could even compute what was happening, bf gets between me and the dog and the owner manages to yank the leash and stop his dog. It was really quite heroic. Then the owner apologizes and calms his dog down and when he was a good distance away and I could move again, I said "I thought you said you were scared of dogs coz you were bitten as a child." He was like "Yeah...but I wasn't scared in that moment." He saw how confused I looked and said "It's called love Diya, I've been trying to show you." And literally that moment meant so much to me coz I realized everything.
