My parents divorced when I was 3 and my dad never looked back. Mom remarried when I turned 5 and when I asked my stepfather to call him dad, he said he wasn't my dad. I grew up not having a dad and feeling like the third wheel when my brother joined the air force (he was 6 years older). By then my mom and stepfather had a son. Growing up without a dad makes me appreciate when a guy does what you have. Many blessings for your family.

Love is REAL. I just became a step parent but they are my babies no matter who birthed them. What he said is truth these kids can never have enough people in their corner, the more love and support they get from their families the more they thrive. That is why we do it after all.
