I understand due to the budget that they had to make this fight short with Kong delivering an off screen kill. But I really hope WB and Legendary understand the value in the Monsterverse and start investing more money into these films. I hope Godzilla X Kong 3 would have at least a €250M budget, with a 2h 20m runtime

Am I the only one who realized that the drownviper looked eerily alike to the Oarfish? A species speculated to be the cause of the legends of sea serpents, *which the drownviper is clearly based on.*

It could be even better if they to add the moments which are mentioned in the of.novelization, more concrete - how Kong cut off this SeaSerpet's head.
So, according to the of.novelization, Kong waited for a moment when SeaSerpent charged him again just immidiately stepped aside and made a lethal hit!

Kong made that down viper sea food Sushi to eat. But I wish the kill wasn't offscreen understandable though since it's on a budget. CGI is very expensive.

There is a Bangladeshi version of King Kong where he does fight a serpent. Can't believe the monsterverse took that idea as well.
