The timing of some of these accidents is unbelievable!

The logs falling off the transport ship is actually the way the logs are offloaded into the water to be floated to the mill.

Your #11 short is how logs from a lumber camp are unloaded from ships near the sawmill. Also shorts #16 and #7 are the same vehicle just from a different angle.

14:25 Log Barge

When a log barge arrives at its destination, it is anchored down to hold it in place.

Then it has water pumped into its ballast.
Once the ballast tanks are full, the barge tips to the side and the logs dump into the water.
They are then towed or pushed to shore to be sorted by species and grade for various sawmills.

That is how to unload a shipment of logs once the destination is reached.
The ship is designed for this

These overloaded vehicles are absolutely wild! 😲 I can’t believe the amount of cargo some of these are carrying—it’s hard to imagine how they stay balanced!

Seeing those human bodies hanging onto that train, obviously in India, reminded me of an incident that occurred when I as a firefighter at a South-East fire station in Phoenix in the early 70's. A large irrigation canal ran past the station, There was a weir box where the canal went under the street. A weir box collects water from the canal and diverts it to irrigate fields and orchards. One of our firefighters used to lower a raw chicken leg on a string into that box in the morning. By lunch time he had a large collection of crawdads clinging to that bait and he would have them for his lunch. One afternoon a human body came floating down that canal. Guess what it was covered with. He suddenly decided he didn't care much for crawdads after that. Back to that human covered train.

Well, now that you mention it 😂 I love random taking a ride in the trunk. The random people's faces when you climb out or climb in 😂

Edit to add: I didn't want to take an extra vehicle, so I volunteered to ride in the backity back

15:10 to be honest i think that is edited.. why would there be people down there, on the cliff, in the bottom left corner..? and also, the train tracks dont go anywhere..

Way too much unnecessary talking in this video. Otherwise, it would be great!

The logs were loaded to allow quick transport. What we see is the best way to unload.

How come are the logs shown first sliding off the port side then a little later they are sliding of the starboard side?

You are worse than I 1st thought, the ship with the logs is built with special Ballast tanks so that it can self unload, it was loaded perfectly ass planned for ease of unloading! Why anyone would watch a channel where the presenter doesn't have a clue of what he speaks is beyond me

18:32... Two more straps from the rear most bar on the lower rack over the bins to the roof rack would have ten folded the stability.

The ship shown dumping the timber is designed to do just that it is meant to dump the logs when needed near a mill.
