My thoughts on the 3 best heroes released per year in AFK Arena.

Grez and raine werent that great before buffs, it was actually shemira, talene, athalia who were top tier
Ans zolrath wasnt that great until furniture came

Brutus was OP on release. Grez never really was. Raine was fodder until her rework. Not sure you played early game 😅

2019 was Brutus Shemira and they prob didnt even let space for the 3rd bcs these 2 were so big

I really hope that they make there be a way to get the collar dimensional heroes like Ainz, Rem and Rimuru as they are not only popular but are quite powerful (so long as you use them correctly)

Grez only became top tier when they introduced furniture and had some adjustments. Raine was arguably the worst hero before her rework. Both occured around 2020 iirc.

nathalia. she was so op at launch that i made all her bounty missions WITH HER SOLO!
i maxed her, SI50, E100, F36/36
even got collection with 3 mythic physical pierce skills and 1 lvl up!
i'm f2p btw
she is still my favourite hero.
i was always offmeta(imagine i used stargazing to get shemira from ascended to 5*), and that was waay before engraving was added.
my worst mistakes were changing atalene to maetria(should have switched to Ashemira) and i wasn't able to get both geralt and yennifer, even if i had the resources(didn't use hero coins at first exchange)

Alna, Lyca (start of battle haste is still really strong), Silas (One of the stronger support healers). May be more.

Wasn't the phoenix celestial the best for a rather long portion of the game? I remember it being the highest ranked hero, being considered broken when compared to every other.

Tasi is busted not sure if shes always been that way but if you do it right she'll help all comps regardless what you think.
