This is one of the reasons I support NariLamb.

Nari is immortal so he'll never die. Lamb has his crown, so he'll never leave. This means, Narinder can become that eternal constant Lamb would need in their life to filter out such feelings of longing connection, allowing their other followers to live their lives and hopefully die to rest in peace, instead of endlessy recycling their existence. Even if formed on shaky ground with toxic foundations, Narinder and Lamb create magnets that draw each other in, sparring everyone else from such experiences.

I never had any attachment for my first follower in my save file, but I found a random Capybara fella, Noatre, and immediately made him my male-wife. (*As a joke*, since this was when the “capybara with an orange on its head” meme was really thriving)

Eventually I made 2 followers called Noatre Jr and Lamb Jr as weird grown-adopted children.

Sweet and sad. Yet truly beautiful .You could say in embracing death whole heartedly a new beginning occured (symbolically death represents endings and beginnings, in Tarot the death of the ego is one of the most powerful concepts of change and transformation.) giving birth to his new purpose. The Lamb being the new embodiment of death (a Kinder death to those deserving like the mythos of Thanatos) is what gives him this new meaning. By this very act its almost as if the first follower has transcended the mortal life cycle, there becoming an inhabit of the realm of transitions.

As such, he was to accompany death as a special loyal companion. And if you think about it, the lamb is his 2nd family. The last one who needs him still.

I called first two followers man and Jason. I ran outta luck and decided to make a new save and low and behold Jason was my first follower. Feeling attached now I spent all my time with them, married them, made them my only deciple. They just reached old age with a skull necklace and I don't plan on reviving them out of respect.
